hi,

i have a suzuki swift 2014 model, i have only just started having an issue that every time it rains my car carpets get flooded and my boot where my spare tire sits fills up with water. i have checked the seals and they seam in tack. is there anything else anyone can think of ? i pulled up the carpet in the passenger side and there was a big puddle underneath, but could not see or feel any holes. HELP!!!

Get a friend and a garden hose - sit in the car and have your friend hose the car down - if the spare tire well fills with water, I would focus on the area above that.

The vents below the rear lights and behind the rear bumper can get dislodged and allow water into the boot and in turn flood the footwells. You've really got to take the bumper off to refit the vents though.
