Greetings to all. I have a samurai alternator to install on my sj410. I need help to make electrical connection and know the cables that I have to connect. Thank you

hi. yes mi sj410 (1984) had external voltage regulator near clutch pedal. i need help to reconfigure the wiring to use samurai alternator. i cant find sj410 wiring diagram on web.

Did this years ago for somebody. I can't confirm it worked OK as is often the case, once they got the info I never heard from them again :( The lower diagram says 413 as this is the standard wiring on a 413/samurai. I didn't show the wire colour to the battery loom as you will probably use your original White/Blue. The original 410 alternator kicks out 35A and my 413 kicks out 45A so I'd like to think the original cable to battery can handle this but don't know for sure. The later Injected Samurai alternator may well kick out more so the cable may need up rating or I have heard of people piggy backing a second cable. Hopefully you may get some more opinions on this.
