I am patiently waiting for my wrecker to find me that 3 cyl turbo motor. Then comes the CIVIC KILLER !!!!! Hello all you closet Forsa owners!
Is the Forsa the Canadian version of the Metro XFi? Your specs sound like it.

I have this Metro convertible with the same 1.0L 3 cyl motor, I also have an XFi camshaft and a turbo exhaust manifold with turbo/wastegate that I am itching to install. It may make an interesting combo, or it may be a disaster. But it will be an adventure.
metro xfi

The Suzuki Forsa (85-88) is a Canadian version of the japanese Suzuki Cultus. To get the same car in the USA you had to buy a Chevrolet Sprint. In 89 there was some engine changes and you would buy the Suzuki Swift or Geo Metro in the north american market. In 85-88 there was a turbo option (maybe on the Chev Sprint too ?) for the Forsa. I think the 89 on cars still had turbo option too?? My 88 still has a carb but a strange one with some computer control to it- later cars are fuel injected . I'm not sure of the timetable on the change of a 3 cyl engine to the 4 cyl version. Confused yet?? LOL May the Forsa be with you! LOL:lol:
It is beginning to make sense...but I am now beginning to worry about my own state of mind.

Yes, we had the Chevy Sprint Turbo here, I think you also had it as the Pontiac Firefly. BTW, the Suzuki Samurai also has a carburetor with computer inputs and an oxygen sensor to adjust mixtures. The first approximation of fuel injection without most of the benefits.

Here, the Metro's stayed with 3 cylinders while the Suzuki Sprints moved up to 4, using the 1.3 liter unit from the Samurai.
Hny

3 cylinders forever!!! Happy New Year to all and may the Forsa be with you!

Mine was taken by my wife after the divorce. Same car with 375,000 with 1 clutch and usual other. No engine work but tune up.
