Hi Guys - for those of you out there who like me is more of a DIY person ;) . Here's some useful info for this engine type:

very useful information but..

very useful information but please let me know that if we are gona change the ignition coil to a larger one with heavy duty plugs and wires too what should be the timings angel ? and will it effect on the pick ??

??? Other sources tell me it should be 8 deg btdc?????

oh and, does anyone have a manual they wunna scan and upload here as a PDF?? im sure loads of people like me will love you for it!

Oh that would be great! Cant find one anywhere...was thinking about writing one with photos and instructions , tips and tricks, but as far as specs its a Hypothesis...:) I think the timing for a suzuki scrum 12 valve is 12 Degrees but could be 8 degrees BTDC, dont forget to remove the vacuum line to the vacuum advance and plug it with a nail or screw before timing...I have the sticker on mine thats where i got the info...

i'm in the process of scanning a holden scurry manual (same as suzuki carry) to PDF but with some 400 pages to scan its taking alot longer then i thought.

Oh your a saint! Please keep everyone posted as to where to download the files...

I have a server you can put it on if the forum will not allow so many files...i will be glad to host the files and add a link here on the forum for everyone to download.....cheers!

engine swap!

heyy guyss! im from the caribbean! i wanted 2 no if the engine from a baleno 1.6 can work in a 2005 suzuki supercarry bolt 4 bolt! my head has ah crack in it n i cnt seem 2 locate ne! tanks guyzz! :)
