We were driving our SZ4 when the Transaxel warning light came on and we lost transmission. Fortunately, we have just turned off the M25 and were travelling on local A roads. Had the sudden power loss occurred on the M25 then the consequences could be been catastrophic for us and other motorists. Subequently, a Suzuki Dealer carried out a diagnostics check and advised that the gear box actuator (global fault code P1984)- actuator assy, cvt avk310 had failed. It cost £2,700 to replace.
We are concerned that as there are 2084 Celerio SZ4 automatic vehicle on the road (according to howmanyleft.co.uk) that this fault may happen to others with potentially fatal consequences.
Have any Suzuki Celerio SZ4 Automatic owners out there had this fault happened to you? Please let us know.
