if its broken the cable, then theres no option but to gently use something to get the catch to release on the flap then investigate the cause. I have a strip of stiff plastic i use, but you may need to use something else. thankfully the fuel flap is thin metal and the catch part will bend but can usually be straightened easily.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Alto, with 36k miles on the clock , and I am not sure if it is normal.
When the car is first started it revs up to 2000 RPM, and takes around 5 or so minutes to go to normal Idle speed.
Any Ideas what it could be?
is it normal on car for its age?

Trouble is there isn't one I can buy, I've contacted Suzuki direct and they tell me that they only supply it to the trade, I try to do all the jobs I can on my car myself as I'm pretty handy at it.
Hope someone can help me out.
