I will be replacing my struts and the mounts soon. I was wondering if I need bearings too?

I bought them today, and the guy said it was interesting that the bearings weren't included.

That being said, where can I get the bearings? Are they hard to replace?

2000 GV, correct JB? ;)

When you say "bearings", what part are you referring to?

I bought the struts and the mounts. I'm not sure what bearings the guys was talking about. I also watched a youtube vid saying that its wise to replace the bearings.

I'm not auto savy and learning as I go. If all I need is the new mounts amd struts, I'm good.

Also the description said bearings mot included whatever that means. Thanks Max for shedding some light for me.

You're posting in the 99~05 area, so I'm going to assume that's what you have - strut bearings are not required on these vehicles.

Some macpherson strut designs, typically those that have the spring over the strut have a bearing either integrated into the strut mount or directly below the strut mount, but these vehicles don't.

You can install a bearing, which will be very helpful, considering that the two halfs os the shock can be rotated anyway :)

And, then you can tackle the muffler bearing.....
