Just got into an 05 forenza and had a bit of a tune up to do from plugs (gaped .44), cables, coil pack and valve cover gasket, and air intake resonator (was cracked at mounting point and the car still has a strong vibration in reverse and in drive, park, neutral the vibrations more subside and are less noticeable. The car has 66k miles and runs okay but vibrates and has a slight rattle to the acceleration. The car can be driven far and does not over heat and has power. The only thing I don't believe has been done is the timing belt. There are no check engine lights on. The motor mounts all appear to be in good almost new like condition. Can the timing belt be ready to go or could there be some other reason the car would be vibrating?

took it in to the shop today only to find that nothing is wrong with the car. The mechanic said based on what he knew about the model that most of them have a vibration to them. The vibration is not so noticeable anymore in drive but noticeable in reverse. Cant imagine that the car came off the lot that way but any ideas would be great.
