So I'm driving my 86 Tin-Top transfer case on 4H wheels hub locked steering wheel feels good on the other hand, transfer case on 2H wheels hub free and the steering is shaking like crazy!!
Go back to 4H wheels hub locked feels good again!!! what could this be?

The extra drag/traction in 4H is keeping things tight and in a slight bind. Here's the order i would check things in: tire air pressure (make sure they are the same), tire condition (worn, cupped, or, slipped belt), wheel balance, loose wheel bearings, worn tie rod ends, worn knuckle bearings, loose steering gear, worn spring bushings, worn out steering stabilizer. Usually, it takes more than one thing, to start it all wobbling.
Unless you have a 94~2002 Dodge 4 x 4, then its always the track bar (Samurais don't have one).
