I have this problem with the stabilizer bar, every time I drive on uneven terrain I hear a sound like a loose canister and it is quite annoying, I made an inspection and noticed that the bar is damaged (photo attached) I checked in Autozone and the part is not very expensive, has someone done this work and found it very difficult? incidentally attached another photo of a damaged hub.

The first picture, which is what I think you're calling a stabilizer bar, would normally be referred to as an "end link" or a stabilizer end link, the actual stabilizer bar, also known as a sway bar, anti sway bar, and sometimes an anti-roll-bar is what's attached to the lower end of the link and they usually run a few hundred dollars. End links are common failure items, replacement is not difficult - BUT - YOU have to know what YOU are capable of, we can't judge that.

The second picture appears to be a ball joint, not a hub - the rubber dust cap may or may not be damaged - however, I am curious, that ball joint appears to be secured by a circlip - if I recall correctly, the ball joints on the 3rd gen GVs are not replaceable separately from the arm - suggesting that that may not be the original control arm..
