If you can't get e-3's (although boxcar found them) you might look at halo spark plugs. They are the same idea as the e-3's but the ground electrode is a enclosed circle not a diamond with an open side. E-3's design will limit the spark area to the three point of the ground electrode closest to the center electrode (remember the shortest path to ground thing?) which is better than a standard plug but halos design allows for a full 360 degree spark area.

I have a set on my propane 1300 sami and have had no problems out of them. It will start without problems even on cold days and the propane carb has no choke.

While I have no experience with the Halo plug, I do have tons with the E-3.
I first tested them in the 1300 Zuke motor I built as an interem power plant for my Sammi. Was replaced with a Datsun .
I was so impressed that I now run them in every rig I own.
I own a lot of rigs........
You will be pleased with the results.....
