Use your head to fix your soft top

Hi All,
I've been trying to track down replacement soft top trim for my 95 Tracker. (17-18 in the diagram)
The black plastic that holds in the side rear windows. The threads I've seen are at least a couple of years old and everything seems to be out of production.

I did see where someone in Mexico had made fiberglass repros. Are they still?

They seem to be broken on every Tracker I've seen. Seems like there would be an aftermarket demand for these.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On my 95 tracker I had the same problem, except mine came with no plastic retainers at all. I cut pieces of 3/4" pvc and cut a slot down the side of it. Placed them against the body at the right angle and used self tapping screws from the inside to retain the pvc pieces. Worked great and held the top in place at 70 mph and had no leaks. The worst place to make was the curved piece at the very back. Had to take a propane torch to heat it and then bend it till it fit. Then cut the grove at the correct angle. Accross the back I screwed a piece of pvc in the groove and it was retainedfrom the inside with the self tapping screws. I then took another piece and drilled holes in one side and placed self tapping screws through the holes into the attached pvc on the tailgate. When finished I cut a slot for the rear window to slide into. To open the tailgate you had to unzip the rear window and fold it down and then open the tailgate. a little bit of trouble but it worked and did not leak. All things are possible when you just sit down and think about what you are trying to do. Yes it was white pvc but you could only see the piece on the tailgate and i painted it black. My soft top finally gave up the ghost and I found a hard top so I put it on.

I could produce the needed parts on my 3D printers, I just have not got around to looking into it/drawing it up (too many projects). I have the ability to print in about 5 different plastics at the moment (hoping to expand that number soon).

Shoot me a PM if you are interested in talking. We can probably work out an arrangement so you get a set at no cost. ;)
I need the very top part of the channel trim of a 1995 tracker. Can you 3d print that. I can send you the part

Thanks,
Denise
