Hi have a Kizashi, purchaced 4 months ago. Apart from the numerous chips in the paint, its been at the dealers 3 times over the last 2 weeks. At any temperature over about 28 degrees, the air con just cant cut it. Suzuki tells me its within spec, says alot. I have been advised to drive with the windows down for 5 minutes or so first, then turn it on low for another 5 mins before turning it up.
Tried that, slightly cold air emerges. Absolutly rubbish. I had a swift sports (black) and it was terrific, cold as. Ok, smaller car but when your hands are on the wheel, they are no further from the vents in either car. One you freeze, the other you sweet. Very poor for a car costing as much as this.

I was told that it would be taken to a air con specialist, has not left the dealership & the last time they had it for 2 days.

Anyone having trouble with the A/C? I now drive with all 4 windows open, may as well ride the flamin motorbike.

2010 Kizashi we live in the Arizona desert.

No A/C problems
No Paint problems
No HVAC problems
No Dual zone climate control problems

The car has been perfect to date and would recommend to any friend or family member to buy one.

Hi Gizmo, Where are you from?
As you are quoting the temperature on degrees C I presume it is not North America, maybe Australia?
I am in Australia and I don't think the Kizashi climate control A/C is a. as cold as my Mazda6 (my last two cars) A/C and b. as good at regulating the temperature automatically.
However it needs to get to about 35+ before it seems to struggle a bit.
I now prefer to control the temp and fan speed manually, kind of defeats the purpose of paying for climate control!!!

Hi there, I am in Australia and we have had a very long hot summer. AC seems pretty good IMHO, however I did notice on a very hot day when I raised the dual on my side to 25 (deg C) and the other one was on 21 that the cold side (21) was not maintained. Earlier both were set on 21 and both were cold. Heat nearly gone thank goodness but we really need rain here (Perth):frozen::frozen:

I test drove a 2011 Kizashi when the temperature was almost 40C with humidity and I thought the A/C was really cold, much colder than the two GM cars I drove the same week.
