Yes.... The pros, over Geo Forum, absolutely firm on 'No Filling on 3s'.. ha haI don't know that filling in the torque strut is a good idea - I did it on my Swift, along with the engine mounts, the intent being to "tame" a violent "axle tramp" on a hard launch (violent enough that the "shock loading" wiped out the differential).
Stiffening up the mounts cured the axle tramp, but it also transferred a huge amount of NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) with the engine at idle, the entire body shell buzzed, and that was the four cylinder Swift, your three banger vibrates more than the four.
