Everything is settling down, on the idle at last 👍
However, my dash voltmeter is worrying me... 13.6v - 14.2v shows, bombing along at 3k revs >> slap on lights/full blowers/HRW and it drops straight to 12.2v >> switch them off and back up to original rate 🤔...
GeoForum (U.S.) point to big issues around 'poor grounds', if anything lowers the ability to sense Voltage Drop in the control wire.. then the Alt will not get "give me all you've got, Scotty!" signal = poor load response.
I'm going to work my way through all the grounds and engine earth strap.....
