That coating works well till things get hot. The centre should stay pretty much ok given the bigger heat sink surface the hub affords, but I bet the disc surface and outer edges look like any other disk in a week or 2.

I have cobbled up a 'reversed' stroke cycle tyre pump + fishtank air 'clack valve'.... Hence, I'm able to create a partial vacuum in a stiff pop bottle and, with a rubber pipe connected, I will draw down my brake fluid/refresh :)
Costs? 拢3 (... I need to drink the pop first)

Quite a few 3door Swift's... Sky, for one.. had a lip spoiler, on hatch.
The hatch curve radius is different on the 5door... Anyone tried fitting/modded a 3door spoiler to the 5door hatch?

All MOTd now.....

Emissions virtually NIL, so my old CAT was 'Goosed!!'

Got new Discs + Pads fitted (I was going to do them, but.... What the heck).

Also fixed my fuel tank vent rubber pipe... Leaking a drip or two

3hours cost 拢100.... Plus free Retest.

I bought a Mk1 Picasso 'high 3rd brake light' for 拢9.99 and also sourced 5 LED W5W bulbs. They are polarity sensitive, so I fitted them all the same orientation 馃憤.

This will fit nicely as an alternative to the 'stock' square glow in the Swift!!

The 'oil filter sandwich plate' is now ready - for my oil change ONLY.
You can see my iron 1/8bspt plug (+ PTFE tape) is set.... It will screw out/replaced by brass fitting when my wet Oil Pressure Gauge is ready to be fitted. The two other ports are sealed shut forever.... Alloy NPT plugs (supplied in kit) PTFE tape & a dab of thread lock dripped up the threaded end/pressure side (y)

I have sourced a FIAT Punto 1.2 Airfilter box....

I'm planning to mod this and fit, with 'bridge delete' & BellMouth, as an experiment - to see how it sounds and if throttle response improves. Just a few quid so no great loss, either way 馃槑

Not even a "lick of paint"?
Ha Ha..... Well, these are quite ancient & scrap (Austin Allegro 1500). I will have to drill a hole/install vent - to draw PCV into the airbox.

After customisation it will all be enamel painted >>> more excitement when choosing a suitable colour.

Sky blue.. Fire engine red.. Grey or Black.
