So I've done everything I know, It has a flat spot around 1800 while accelerating. This is an 88 1.3l engine as stock as can be. I've cleaned the carburetor, adjusted the timing and Idle speed but it still has that flat spot at 1800. This kills me because that means that I have to over accelerate every time I drive off on first gear. Any advice?

$20 for the part and $12 to ship it? Thanks but no thanks. I went ahead and made one myself. I will let you guys know how it worked.

BTW it cost me $2.50 to make.

I would have said vent tube as well. I looked inside mine and found it was clogged as well and did a redneck tune up quite a few times while revved up to I'd say 4000 RPM and it cleared things up. Oh and if you think 20 for the part and 12 for shipping is crazy try Low Range Off Road haha.. I wanted the window weather stripping as it's the only place I can find it. Package is 1lb and they wanted some 29$ for shipping... right..

I had a bad experience with them so I don't shop there. The tube I fabricated works well so I will leave it in place. Once the part arrives I will keep it just in case.

I had one bad experience with a top I bought and they made it right and sent me a button kit to fix the issue no questions asked. The one place I have constant problems with is rocky road outfitters. I purchased their alternator upgrade kit and starter relay kit. The bracket to mount the 110A alternator was cut so poorly I had to drill all the holes out bigger including the alternator. The holes on the bracket looked like someone just cut them quick and in a hurry with a plasma cutter. The Alternator upgrade was supposed to come with a fuse as well which was advertised and never did. As for mounting and installation instructions they sent some very vague crap that I had to research on the internet to get things right. When I confronted them about the bracket they just said they would check their machine, no offer to make it right. The fuse they said it was not included then all of a sudden I could no longer find the text saying it came with a fuse. And the instructional stuf they sent for both was nothing like what they sent me in the beginning, the new stuff was highly information.. overall it was just one screw up after another. I won't be going with them again for anything.

What issue did you have?
