So, while I am driving my Samurai, I sometimes get a REALLY bad shaking in the steering wheel. I have checked the tie rods/wheel bearings and nothing seems loose. The left hub assembly is leaking, but doesn't seem loose. Everything else in the suspension seems tight. Any ideas?

You may want to adjust the play in your steering column, by going to the steering sector. There is a nut with a flat head screw in center - loosen nut to point you can tighten screw about i/2 turn - hold screw in place and tighten nut. See if that helps. If it helps a little, go back and re-adjust tighter. It's helped my '87.
