New here and thanks for the add. I have a 1988 Samurai, it is stock. It was sitting for a couple of years after needing a clutch replacement. It was running fine before the clutch went out. It was my dads , and I purchased it from him. Clutch was replaced and spark plugs, oil change and air filter has been done before the start up after sitting. New gas in the tank. Fogging oil in the cylinders. All the vacuum lines seem to be in place. No obvious damaged lines. It will start up and idle fine, until a few seconds later the idle will rise, which I remember it doing so before and then the idle will decrease afterwards. I'm assuming it revs higher to warm up due to the high idle, however now when the idles raises the engine dies. Before the car idles high on its own. I can press the throttle and reve it with out dying. Not that I'm redlining or anything just giving a little fuel. Thanks in advance.
