Hey guys I have the most difficult to sole problems I have ever come accross.

My brakes are great, but while I am driving when I turn the wheel I loose pressure in the brake pedal and it has to be pumped at least 1 or 2 so that I get hydrolic lock again. So I figured it was something to do with a bad wheel bearing so I changed them even though I felt no physical play. Then I changed the flexible brake hoses thinking they were being pinched. New disks, pads and I even changed the calipers with one of another axle I have. While I drive straight no problmes when I turn the wheel does not even have to be full lock the problem begins. I even changed the master cylinder because I thought of nothing else it could be. Please if you have any suggestions I would really appreciate hearing the.

It is very easy to twist the hoses the wrong way.

-Do this with the engine off.
-Apply the emergency brake
-Jack the vehicle up and put a pair of jack stands under the left and right side of the front axle. This will get the tires off the ground safely.
-Have someone turn the steering wheel from loc to lock (left to right and back) while you sit in front and watch the brake lines very carefully.
-Check for any straining or stretching, or kinking of the hoses.

Hi I have done this with the mechanic and have even replaced a new hose thinking it was from here that my problem was. Under the master cylinder there are 2 short flexible hoses connected to a copper looking thing that diverts the fluid to the front and the back of the keep. do you know what this part is and could the problem be coming from here. What I don't understand is how this is only happening when I turn, not even full lock. If I start to swerve it happens as well. then driving straight no problems. What else could cause the pads to move to far back in the caliper when turning, my bearings are all new, there is no visible play in the wheel.

If it only happens when turning the wheel then it's most likely NOT the proportioning valve (that's the diverter that you're asking about) You could have a cracked or dammaged caliper, or a leaking seal that is letting air in the line.
