Hi, new here and yes I'm now a owner of a 1987 sammy . what can be done to soften the ride HELP!!!!!

You could try the OME suspension lift, its well rated for is ride. You should check that the existing springs are in good condition, do the front springs show any signs of inversion? are the shocks properly rated for the Suzuki?

That's all part of the fun of driving them :D.
To be honest different springs are what we generally fit here in the UK.
Most Sammie's have had the springs replaced and many are lift type that are harder than the original.
I do know people who have removed a leaf from the pack to soften things.

You might check something as simple as tire air pressure. Somewhere around 20psi, with the stock size tires, is all that's needed. I am also a fan of the OME springs and shocks, having them on two of my Samurai.

Thanks for the info I'll check these thing out. Im doing a engine rebuild right now . 40 over high compression pistion ,260 cam,, 2.25 exhaust, headers. any comments or suggestions ?????
