I am installing a set of Bushwacker flares and had a question for those of you that installed these. Did you not only remove the plastic stock flares, did you also remove the metal supports for the stock flares? These are the pocket style I'm installing.

You don't have to remove them, but it is easier to mount the new flares if you do. I'm in the middle of my build & I did remove my mounts.

I can't speak for the OP, but I went with the 6" (not cut) from Low Range Off-Road. Its a pretty good kit with good instructions. They are originally designed for the rear of the YJ and TJ Jeep Wranglers. They were a bit pricey at $320 USD but they look much better than the alternatives. Here is the link.

Same flares from long range. I however went with the 4.75" to cover my 31's nicely.
