I saw on the news yesterday that Suzuki was recalling Kizashi cars.

I think all years are being affected by this. Has anyone received a letter from them about the recall?

Apparently only a recall in North America- even though that type of spider is world wide. I know some recall letters have been sent out in Canada.

Kizashi and SX4 Recalls

Another recent recall (other than the spider issue for Kizashi)... My husband and I both received a recall notice for my Kizashi and his SX4. The recall is for the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Affected vehicles (2010-2013) have a shift select lever lock that becomes disabled if excessive force is applied. When the lock is disabled, the shit select lever will mover from PARK to any other gear position without depressing the brake pedal, increasing the risk of vehicle roll-away and a crash.

as far as i know its only in north america. spiders get in an evap vent tube and build a webin there. even then these spiders are only in certain spots of north america. when in doubt call your nearest suzuki service center and have them check if it applies to your vehicle
