I use a 2008 SX4 sedan automatic transmission. I changed my compressor like 6months ago but not long after changing the compressor it started making a rattling noise once I applied brake in traffic.the noise will stop as soon as am clear from the traffic. I learnt it could be from either the puller bearing, compressor clutch and bearing. My question is can this part be replaced easily in a Suzuki SX4 or I need to have the complete compressor changed? Am hoping the part can be replaceable because am cash strapped at the moment. But I will appreciate true feedback nonetheless. Thank you.

Before you start throwing $'s at it...

The rattle can be from several causes:

Belt chatter (worn, improper tension or foreign substance contaminated belt)
Refrigerant flood-back (charge amount or control issue)
Clutch component breakage
Internal compressor damage

You should have the system Professionally diagnosed. ;)
