Hey guys
A few days ago a mate of mine got stuck in the mud and while towing him out in my jimny he tied the towrope around my pahard rod. Obviously it is now very bent and after trying to straighten it the car is still a bit unstable. Could this dumb act have caused any damage other than the Panhard rod?

I would think so. My panhard rod is bent as well, and I have a distinct wobble around 40mph. My understanding of the geometry is, they need to stay straight and tight to function properly.

I have ordered a new rod so I hope this cures the stability problem. I was just worried more damage might have been caused

If the mounting brackets are OK then there shouldn't be any further damage. I would advise that you check all around the axle and trailing arm mounts.
