I have a 2006 forenza. When I got it, it only had 73,000 miles on it. Once it hit 74,000 miles, it would start jolting weird while I am going downhill at a slow speed or letting it coast without my foot pressing on the gas. My check engine light came saying exactly the following "P0700 Transmission Control Modual (Lamp Indicator Requested)" That last part is throwing me for a loop. Anyways, so I took it back where I got it and he said no check engine code came up and the car drove fine. The day I pick it up, the check engine light comes back on and where it says on my speedometer what gear I'm in, it flashed back and forth D then N then D then N then D again real quick. Hasn't done it since. Anyone got any clue?

Definitely transmission range sensor (AKA neutral safety switch).
~$50 if you shop around online (I got mine from rockauto.com)
Update: they have it for ~$40 shipped!
