Hi,
I've just purchased an SX4 SZ5 1.6 / 4WD petrol model (2015) and I am wondering whether I can use the same oil I used in my BMW. The BMW engine oil is Fuchs Titan Supersyn Fully Synthetic 5w-40 ACEA A3/B4. One of the oils reccommended for the SX4 is Castrol MAGNATEC Stop-Start 5W-30 C2 Fully Synthetic oil so I'm not entirely sure if the Fuchs Titan can be used.
The reason I ask is because I have quite a bit of oil left out of a 20ltr drum which I used on the BMW which I have now sold.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

The important rating is the 5W, that is the equivalent COLD viscosity recommended for correct pressurization of the timing chain tensioner..the 40 number is the hot viscosity, so it will not harm the engine. You might see a slight increase in your fuel consumption..

Hi Philip,
Many thanks for the speedy reply. Good to know that the oil I have will be fine for the Suzuki.
