Hi, I have an SX4 DDiS with 95k miles on the clock.

It has almost no power below 2600rpm and then the power comes in with a bang and it takes off.
I have thoroughly cleaned the EGR valve and fitted a blanking plate with a small hole.
I replaced the MAP sensor as it was just a solid lump of carbon.

The car gets plenty of decent runs as my commute is 22miles each way, mainly motorway.

I did unplug the MAF sensor and went for a short drive but it felt no different.
At present I have to use loads of revs to get away which isn't doing the clutch any good.
Any thoughts on what to check next??
