This sounds strange to me, but here goes, I found water seeping out the bottom of my jeep and took to mechanic to see if he could find it cos I couldn't see it. He had to remove a couple of parts to find it and eventually moved the starter motor to find a hairline crack in the block! I don't understand It has never gotten hot or been off road and never leaked anything before, has low k's too.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yes it does sound familiar, i had a 89 JLX Vitara a few years ago, that had a crack in the block, above the engine mount, thankfully, my Mech spotted it before i had some major work done on it... the older carby 1.6 engine block, was quite prone to this cracking...

I was advised by others to try a, " Chemiweld " additive as a cheap fix, and to get it welded, as a more expensive fix, but these were non permanent fixes... the only real way to fix it, is to replace the block... sadly it was out of my budget, so i had to sell the old Vitara... :(
