Hi all,

I have a 2016 Vitara with the Bosch infotainment which has in-built navigation and android auto/apple car play.

I frequently use navigation both on the Bosch system and Android Auto, and I cannot make the volume go lower than level "5".
I imagine this is some sort of pre-set volume level limiter for navigation but I find it's a bit too high, especially at lower speeds.

Does anyone know a way to turn off this limiter?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

On Android you can reduce the volume on your phone. It’s easier to do by playing a YouTube video as it affects the output volume cross all the apps including Waze or Google Maps.

Thanks, will give that a go next time. I'm assuming you mean I have to have android auto already loaded up on the infotainment system before going into YouTube on my phone?
