I missed the center bolt while remove the timing chain cover with the engine still in my 2004. Finding a replacement cover is more difficult than I anticipated. Does anyone have a timing chain cover for a 2.3L they would be willing to part with?
Thanks,
Larry

How bad did it break? Can a local metal fabricator fix the one you have? When I was a kid my Dad had a car with an aluminum head (rare in the late sixties). The head cracked but a local shop was able to repair it. The car never ran right again, but a timing chain cover isn't suffering the pressures that a head is.

I cleaned up the edges with a file and made sure it fit nicely, then I JB Welded it. Worked like a champ, car is running and back on the road. Thanks for the suggestion!
