I just got 235/75/R15's on my stock suspension '88 Samurai!
All I did was remove the front bumper (2 bolts on the back of each side), and then cut the ends off of the bar where the bumper attatched (approx. 8 inches off each side). These tires are a perfect fit- with no rubbing AT ALL! The stock 205/70/R15 is a 27 inch tire, and the new 235/75/R15's are 29x9.25! If you wanted to remove your front bumper anyways, this is a FREE way to get a bit of lift (approx. 1.33 inches). The grip is better, and the ride is SMOOTHER!!! I will put a small custom bumper on later, but for now, I think it looks kind of cool with the front bumper off, and the ends cut off! TAILWIND P.S. You will have to do this simple modification anyways if you want to run even LARGER tires!
