New smoked tail lights, maybe 3 coats in and I think I did 5 overall with new rear bumper before we make some changes and get it to fit:

New front bumper, gotta get it to fit, paint the grill black, and mold the stock fogs tightly in place:

Trying to get a pass on an M5:

New 10000k HIDS (I have another kit for the fogs waiting to be installed). Still need to AIM them:

New reno front end (I ended up taking off the tint from the projectors):

New wheels, they will be track wheels once I save more money for wider street wheels. Also I banged up the fenders and raised the car to get them to fit untill I get my new fiber glass fenders installed. I could have probbaly gotten away with an extream fender rolling but I had these fiber glass fenders already and saw them on another car and they look pretty cool.

10000k HIDs all around. Fogs have pretty bad glare--I'd like to retro fit them but that depends on cost.

God dam kinky you got a shit load of stuff in your car. The 0-60 time is impressive tho. And the 143MPH plus is as well. I think you need a new speedo.:p But have you tune your car yet or is it still not tuned.

No tune, less than factory I would assume sicne we needed to lean it out cuz of the high flow fuel pump and injectors...and still I had to replace the injectors untill the turbos on anyways and havent tuned since.

pearlesant black paint + or - white or flat black clean looking pinstripes
black powder coat wheels

or

two tone pearl black and flat black
powder coated wheels
Nah, either I'm going to keep it the way it is or do a flat black. I'm sticking to solid black as I'm not a fan of pinstripping and the only reason I'd bother getting it repainted flat black is its cheap, this isnt a show car. :D

I'm just thinking the flat black would give it more of a race/mean look and would go better with a carbon hood, my carbon splitter, and my carbon wing than the factory black.

Dark Charcoal -- close to black -- with lots of metallic tint. If you go flat black, you're gonna look like you couldn't spring for decent paint. Go for a very dark grey metallic -- it'd be killer.

Black with bronze rims looks like an old Trans Am from 1983. Don't do it, man. If you do, I'll get you a nice bronze vinyl thunderbird decal for your hood...

Or, take one from the off-road playbook -- go with black Rhino-liner. I don't think it'd ever scratch, but it's not very aerodynamic, either.

Maybe I'm not gonna bother painting it at all. The only reason I considered flat black is it's cheap, still black, and kinda mean looking....but mostly cheap.

I think bronze wheels give it more of a race car look to it. Though not ricer race...just race. Maybe thats just cuz I see allot of race cars out on the track with bronze.

I like black cars. Probably the only colour car I'll ever have.
And I like that flat black look a lot.
Very nice. You definitely should go with it if you decide to paint at all.

Awesome to see someone do something so original with a Forenza! I actually think the grille looks good as is - maybe billet in the two side ports, but leave the Zuki emblem in the center for sure, don't want it to get too generic looking or have people constantly ask "what is that" (you probably get that enough already).

you'd be surprised. ive seen about 3 or 4 other renos around here about 4 months after i bought mine. before we know it, they're going to be as popular as some of the other cars that we all can point out from 500 feet away at night by just looking at the head/tail lights...

i like the way it looks right now, Danny. even some silver enkei's would look nice on it. i can be pretty judgemental about rims on cars...dont get anything too flash or too detailed when you're driving a sporty car. and vise versa...i know you are going to be looking at racing wheels anyways, but for those who are reading : unless you are going to make it look lux and keep it quiet, dont get flashy rims(please?).

i shaved all of my badges except for the steering wheel(pain in the ass to change). i think it looks more professional and sleek without them.[/rant]

I started thinking about it, I never hit 143mph, I hit 133mph...but since then I hit 137mph at close if not 6k rpms so theres no way it'd go any faster without bigger tires or higher gearing. After using my gear calculator it says at 6k rpm with my street wheels I'm at 136mph. I'm having a hard time beleiving the speedo is that correct. Im going to bring my gps with me one of these days.
