Japanese Vehicle Recalls
Case: RJ-0508-0
Models covered: SUZUKI JIMNY, SUZUKI EVERY, SUZUKI CARRY, SUZUKI ALTO, SUZUKI CERVO, SUZUKI WAGON R, SUZUKI CAPCCINO, MAZDA SCRUM, MAZDA AZ WAGON
Japanese official recall case number: RJ-0508-0
Date issued: 5/2/1998
Number of affected vehicles: 94013
Production period: 01/08/1996 - 29/10/1997

Faulty component: engine cooling system
Description: On certain vehicles, some of the rubber hoses for the engine cooling system are defective in manufacturing. If left unfixed, the hoses can crack causing coolant to leak, and in the worst case, the engine could overheat.
How to fix the problem:
The rubber hoses should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Note: The black hoses on the diagram are the ones to be replaced.
How can you tell if the problem has already been checked and/or fixed on your vehicle?
woven-look on the hoses and 16mm external diameter of the hoses (originally 14mm)

Thanks sa info sparkle4js, kaya pala dapat e monitor yung temp. gauge
sa ganitong mga sasakyan. Yung sa akin, overheat problems din for the
first few weeks after na-acquire ko yung vehicle, pero hindi sa mismong
hose ang leaking kundi sa water pump. Marumi rin ang radiator ko nung
time na yun. Pagkatapos palitan ng bagong w.pump at overhaul ng
radiator, ok na ang cooling system ko.

Sana nilagay mo kung saang site or editorial mo nakuha ang topic na to.

Ibig bang sabihin sparkle4js, mas older or mas early na manufacture ang
van ko keysa mga nakasulat dun sa taas na defective ang rubber hose?
Mas larger ba ang number, mas latest na manufacture?

I'm sorry I haven't copied the link site.

Anyway here's the detailed section of the problem:




I dont have yet my unit its still under reconditioning with the dealer. Hopefully I can get it on the 3rd week of January.
