In this case I would certainly go for it. It is a better option than a 'Z' link and far cheaper than a high steer solution. The thing is that you need to keep the drag link parrallel with the tie rod, and the 2.5" dropped pitman arm they sell will get you almost there. I run one on my rig so that I don't have to make up so much of a difference with the highsteer.

Thanks Bill,im thinking this may be my best option for a little more lift cause it looks simple enough for a Back yarder, lol.Bill, whats your opinion on the Calmini 3" lift?I have heard the ride is kinda rough but reckon I can live with that...

This is the kit that was on the Stalker project vehicle when I first bought it. I didn't do the installation, but I know the person that did (he had no issues). I like the fact that it could still use the sway bar after installing the drop brackets. They are still on the Stalker. The lift actually measured about 2.5" of lift from stock. The ride was more firm than stock, but that is because of the new leaf packs. Some say it is the shocks, but I removed them during another installation and found the springs were the reason for the stiffness. But they are a good replacement for the stock leaf packs. Just don't abuse them too much like I did. I snapped two leaves on one side and one on the other because I liked to high-tail it through washboard roads a bit faster than most...

Overall, a decent basic lift.

Oh, and since it already includes the dropped pitman arm, your set.
