ok well i have an 88 samurai and it prob has about 185k miles on it so its been a project.
ok drove it the other day and no problems ran great. i got in it this afternoon to head across town noticed it running a lil warm so stopped at service station checked fluids added 2qts oil cause it needed it and about 1/2 gal of water to reservoir. started back up seemed fine but after about 10 miles or so i noticed the idle wasn't idling back down and samurai was smoking really bad. well got where i was going and found vacuum line disconnected. will have to get back to you on which one. i reconnected line checked fluid but it is still idling real high and smoking. also noticed oil on the front skid plate under the motor. i am not a car genius but do understand and have some knowledge on vehicles open to any advice on how to fix or determine the problem. thankyou for you time.
