Just to note that splitting the exhust pipe wont really help it flow any better and will add extra weight but duel tips can look better and will probably give a more refined sound.

You know...the only reason I can see for doing this is looks.


I'm affraid to know what it might sound like...I could see it going either way.

Like I said on PMs this is probably wayy to big. I'd try 2", split it into the smallest piping you can find a muffler for... at most 1.5" and get resonators for each side to try to choke it up as much as possible. Your looking at over double cost, double weight, and less performance. But it would look pretty cool. What I would probably do...unless you have allot of money your willing to spend to play around with different mufflers and piping to get the sound you want it just get a single exhaust. Ask them to make (I dont remember the name for it, but I may have gotten it right) slip on style for the muffler. Only have one muffler functional...but have two coming out the back like you want. Then ever once awhile slip them off and switch them around so they both get the char so they look like they're in use.
