Hi I recently installed new sway bar end links like 2 days ago and I just tightened them until I felt like stopping. The rubber bushings are very squished and my car started making a faint popping noise once in a while, which I believe is from over tightening or under tightening. Anyone know If there's a certain torque spec for these? Thanks.

Ps I'm working on it at the moment, so hopefully someone is able to shine some light on this topic sooon

I'd say until the rubbers just start to distort - if they have squished beyond the edge of the seating washers it's too tight.

Thanks fordem. I noticed that I forgot to tighten one of the nuts and the sway bar had a little bit of play, so that's why I heard a clunking noise once in a while. And I will loosen up the top side nut a bit so the bushings aren't so squished. I had googled how tight it should be and some said as tight as possible and that squishing the bushing was normal, but I'm going to go with your advice cause it sounds right lol
