What measurement can I take to tell me how much suspension lift I have on my 1987 Samurai.

It has no body lift and 33's on 15's

Thank you.

I think stock on a Samurai is around 14", I'm not sure how much of that you would loose if the springs are 30-ish years old. How was it lifted?

Where is the measurement of 14" taken?

The lift seems to be by Rancho. It is using Rancho 9000 shocks.

I have always seen ride height measured at the bottom of the rocker. Here is an interesting article about right height and lifts. It's simplified but pretty easy to get through. It might help ID what has been done to lift it.

Truth about lifts
