I own a 1987 tin top, I don't see them often, so I'm under the impression that thier either rare, or not regionally suitable in El Paso as we live in a very hot, dry climate, in the middle of a desert. Does anyone know how many tin tops were imported to america over the coarse of 86-88? Or better yet, anyone have a complete break down of samurai production?

titntop sales info...

I haven't seen that amount of detailed information on the Samurai...

I can tell you that the US Tintop is rare.

I'm not sure how rare they are now... I remember when I bought mine new they had close to 40% tin to 60% rag. This was in late '87 in West Chester PA. We almost got a tin. Glad we didn't.

No... can I at least find out how many tin tops were imported to the U.S? looks like finding a breakdown by year, color, and options, is going to be slim to none.
