Changing the fluids in the manual trans,differentials,transfer case...when i got my oil changed the lube place said it was dirty...and they wanted like 175.00 to change it but cheaper than all those gears...thanks in advance!

Over time and use, the lubricants can lose their performance abilities. They should be replaced when those abilities don't do their job.

Unfortunately, if you don't know when the lubes were last replaced, you can be duped by a (less than honest) mechanic or salesperson pretty easily. Change the oil in your engine. Run 1000 miles and then check the oil. It is probably black. It can be called 'dirty' but that doesn't mean it isn't doing it's job.
