Hey mate,

My search came up with no high performance/heavy duty clutches for our NGV's :(

Exedy and Diakin (same?) are well known brands. Here in AUS is a guy that can build you an Exedy clutch with heavier spring, maybe contact a local (Exedy) dealer...

Good luck

What year is your DDIS?

Mine's a 2011 which makes it a type 6. Unfortunately it is post the introduction of the DMF.

If you do have a DMF and either it or the clutch is shot, and are looking for more durability, it might be possible to convert to a solid flywheel and fit up a pre DMF Exedy clutch kit. Only downside is that you will notice a little more vibratation/harshness back through the gearbox, particularly under medium engine load.

Cheers

Pretty sure a 2008 would be pre introduction of the DMF.

If you take your VIN number to your local dealer's parts shop, they can tell you straight away.
