Help plleeaase! Does anyone know of any vehicles this switch may be compatible with? Its going to take over a week to order one in and can鈥檛 be without my vehicle that long. I鈥檝e figured out how to run it without but am not totally comfortable driving it like that 馃槀

Have you tried the GM parts establishments? You may have a better shot at support there. ;)

That appears to me to be a clutch neutral / disconnect safety switch associated with the pedal linkage. IF so, you can easily jumper / by-pass the switch to temporarily get you operable again while sourcing / replacing it anew.

it will do 2 functions, 1 contact (the normally open) will be starter enable, easily bypassed as Max has stated. The second function that will be affected is the cruise control as that contact will no longer be available until the switch is replaced. As long as you don't short that contact out all that will happen is that the cruise control will be inoperative.
Should you bypass that contact, (the "normally closed" one) then the cruise control will not turn off if you press the clutch to change gear leading to engine over revving etc. Perfectly safe to drive without it and no cruise control. Just bypass the starter disable switch contact and leave the cruise control wires alone.
