Hey first time using the site I have a 88 sj50 high roof and I'm having trouble with the driver side head light it's really dull and on high beam nearly goes out. I think it might be ground but can't find the ground for the headlights any help will be apricated

I'm not familiar with the LJ50 - but Suzuki uses ground switched headlights on most of their vehicles, so the ground is under the dash, and if the passenger side headlight is OK, the ground is OK (because they share a common ground).

Check fuses, and make sure the headlamp bulb is good AND the right type.

Ok thanks I don't know about the grounded light switch and I tested the ground with a new wire to a ground bolt it worked fine so that's what made me think separate earths and it's a brand new bulb and how would I be able to clean the sockets out sorry not the best with electrics
