It dials out and rings when pressed but they don't always answer, and when they do they can't hear me anyway.
I know Traffic Master originally came with a free 3 month subscription when the vehicle was new - and a paid subscription thereafter, but who uses it these days?

If you were me and you decided to remove the module, what if anything, would you put in it's place?

If I'm correct, it's an aftermarket system that provided GPS navigation, vehicle tracking services and traffic congestion notification, now made obsolete by google maps.

I think you're right, they came with the car when new but it's mostly obsolete these days. Curiously the service is still operated from a company based in London?
