On display at the Geneva Auto Show, Suzuki is hinting at a hot-hatch version of its new Swift model with the Swift S Concept. That standard car debuted back at the Paris show late last year and Suzuki is now ready to preview what will no doubt be the next in a long lineup of hot hatches dating back to 1968.
Sporting flared fenders and an overall width nearly two inches more than the standard Swift, this concept gets big 18-inch wheels with some seriously wide 225 tires. Upgraded brakes add to the performance, while inside the car gets some serious Recaro racing seats.
And it's hard to ignore the wild aerodynamics with "Lightning Pearl Yellow" paint.
A pioneer of small cars, its strange that Suzuki has yet to bring the modern Swift to America, a particular shame considering the cult following this car would surely gain.
