I have a suzuki sx4 1.9 diesel 2008

i fitted a new filter but since i fitted the new filter i cant get the car to start
has anyone got any ideas what might be the problem

darrell yes you was right i did just try and start it after fitting the filter just tried the wait 5 seconds done this x 6 but still not good just doesnt right the ignition point.

i dont know what else to do have you got any suggestions that i can try.

The old school method would be to loosen the fuel connection pipe to one injector, place rag under connection, get somebody to crank engine until fuel spurts out and then tighten. You may well have to do this on more than one injector. Hope it works out.

ill give that ago on speaking to some friends it is suggested that it might be the immoblizer, and that i have to reset it. what are your thoughts on this idea.

not sure how you go about doing this, sorry i need your help again.

If you only swapped out the filter I don't see why the immobilizer would be effected. You should have a warning light for the immobilizer, I know mine has but it an older SQ model.
