Ok, so after trying to figure out what direction to go for quite some time now, I found a Harley carb for $50....couldn't turn it away. Especially since it is already modified for performance at my elevation. So all I would really need to do is drill out the vacuum port.

Off a 2004 Dyna.





So now to buy the manifold. Looks like it's going to be the my-side 2.
Pretty excited.
I figure eventually I will do the 1.6L upgrade as planned, and correct me if I'm wrong, but won't the 1.3L head work on the 1.6L block? Or at least this manifold will work on the upgrade?

I don't think it matters if its modified or not, it will need rejetting to suit the Suzuki engine. The 1.3 manifold will bolt up to the 1.6 head but it will be quite restrictive because the ports are too small. The 1.3 head will also restrict the 1.6 because the of the smaller ports and valves. What size is the carb, you would need at least 44mm with a 1.6.

Well, it's a 40mm carb. So I guess that's out. But oh well. It will work for now, maybe it will be enough increase that I don't need to spend the money. We will see.
