I have a fiberglass hardtop I will no longer need soon. The front windshield brackets are broken, some work would have to be done on them. Other than that, the top is good.

I don't want to store it, I have no room. Is there anyone out there that would want such a thing? Or do I just take it to the landfill? That would be sad, the glass is all good. I just hate the color, it's white, and I want a softop, and a bikini in the summer.

I live in Farmington, New Mexico. Hit me up if you want it.

I want the hell out of that!!

I would love to see a pic of the broken area to see if I can get it mended, I have a friend that does fiberglass.

I have no idea how these things are shipped or if its even a feasible option, if it is not than definitely don't ditch it, they have value and almost certainly someone nearby you would give you something for it.

The fiberglass, on the top of the ceiling at the front, has two screws that look like wood screws that attach to a bracket that mounts to the windshield. The screws have pulled out of the fiberglass.

You could drill through the whole top, and bolt rubber gromments to keep out the water, and mount brackets to the windshield. If the bolts were big enough you might be able to spread enough stress so it wouldn't break again.

The top is covered with carpet on the inside. Fiberglass work would have to remove the carpet from the affected area. If you didn't mind, it would be a option.

I'm really concerned that any option would not survive the kind of 4-wheeling I do. Rough roads, bouncy. Nothing too serious, not enough lift and tires, but hard bounces. Plus I hate the top. Had a zuki with a soft top years ago that rotted in the sun, I have a carport now. I want the soft top.

Plus, I hate the color. The zuki is tan, desert tan. The top is white. Really? I want black and tan. Gonna do a "Zombie Patrol", featured here some time ago. Only I'm going to do a matching trailer, made out of a Nissan or old Toyota bed, painted the same. Camping in the mountains. Gonna mount a BBQ grill to the trailer, with built in propane. And big black tires. Drag the trailer to the campsite, unhitch, and take the mountain on!

South Dakota? That really isn't that far. The glass is really good and clean. PM for pics. Winters here aren't so bad, and I can drive my car in the winter. SD is different.

Note, I don't have the keys for the back window. The glass is really clean all around. There really isn't anything else wrong with the top. The zuki spent 80,000 miles towed behind a motorhome.

The old zuki I had I sold, more than 10 years ago, on American Classifieds, to a guy out of Texas. It did not even run. He drove up here all the way from Texas to get it on a flatbed trailer. Paid a thousand dollars for it. Worst mistake I ever made. Told him what was wrong with the engine, a mechanic could fix it in a hour.

My girlfriend found this new zuki for me. I wanted tan, it is tan. I wanted air conditioning, it has air conditioning. She found it in Cortez, Colorado. I paid $2200 for it. Got a loan, my only car payment is $96 a month. Could pay it off, but man it does wonders for my credit rating. Insurance is cheap, and $20 fills it up. Parts are cheap. Do all of this with a old jeep, and see what it costs. I can go 4-wheeling all weekend on a tank of gas.

I was a member here when I had the old zuki. Lost and forgot about the account. Now I have it back.

Seriously, Tony, PM me, lets see what we can do. Will do pics when I can. And I can show you some wild 4wd trails here.
