I just took delivery of my new SX4, and I want to prepare it to tow behind my motorhome. (It replaces a Samurai that I've towed for years.) Does anyone know if there is easy access (e.g. through a connector) to the brake, tail, and turn signal lights for connection to the motorhome. If not, does anyone have detailed information about which harness to break into and which wires to tap? If not, I'll have to figure it out, but I didn't want to reinvent the wheel unnecessarily.

Thanks,
Chris

There is no connector I know of - Is this the 4 door sedan with front wheel drive or the crossover model? The crossover automatic AWD is NOT to be towed!!!! It will ruin the transmission. Please carefully read the owners manual before deciding how or IF it will be a TOAD.

It's an SX4 Crossover (hatchback) with manual transmission. The manual approves towing, but I'd appreciate any experience on where to tap into the wire harness.
